Director

Phil Wilkinson

A born and bred Cantabrian, Phil has extensive experience as a registered property valuer. Working throughout Canterbury, Phil has strong knowledge of the Banks Peninsula property market and is a regular visitor to the eastern bays.

Phil has an agricultural, construction and project management background, which forms a strong basis for his valuation work and a greater understanding of his client's business interests and the practical side of the property industry.

Long term client relationships have been a key component of Phil's career.  He values maintaining strong ties with clients and supporting their property decisions through both challenging and prosperous times.

DIRECTOR

Steve Marshall

Steve graduated from Lincoln University in 2007. After a professional career in Commercial Property Management he obtained registration as a valuer in 2013. 

He has previously worked in a global valuation & advisory firm before joining Phil Wilkinson to form Value NZ in 2022.  With a wide skill set his experience in valuations and property management enables Steve to perform a variety of valuation types including loan security for off plans construction loans, current market values, renovations and insurance reinstatement estimates.  

Steve has spent most of his life in Canterbury and has three adult children.  In 2023 he has tramped the Able Tasman Coast Track, Milford Track and his interests include being an active member of a local gym group, over 50s touch team at Burnside and plays squash on a weekly basis.

Administrator

Kristina Newton

Kristina is the engine room of Value NZ, typing, making appointments, running the office, liaising with clients, and ensuring reports are completed in a timely manner.  With a background in accounts management, Kristina’s efficiency and friendly manner is appreciated by clients. 

A born and bred Cantabrian, now residing in Ashburton, she is heavily involved in netball, from playing and coaching, through to umpiring the game, working towards her New Zealand badge.

She has two beautiful girls, one at primary school and has her hands busy with a young baby born earlier in 2023.  She took a short break but is now back on board working from home, juggling motherhood and work.


Our indepth knowledge of the Canterbury market ensures all valuations are accurate and we are committed to provide a cost effective and timely service.
